Overview:
Created across three homes during a period of personal and spatial instability, Held In Colour occupies the mid-air phase of the Emergence Series. Formed through multiple revisions before being intentionally stripped back, the work resolves not through control, but through release.
The suspended figure is not a character, but a presence — the quiet state of falling that transforms once resistance softens. What first appears as descent becomes containment. The surface holds this shift: tension giving way to trust.
Following Solar Genesis, Fragmented Dreams, and At the Threshold, this work marks the moment within the cycle where narrative dissolves and surrender becomes the structure itself.
